Do you ever see people in the year above?

Joining Hudds this september. Know a few people who are in same course deparement as me, but they're a year above me. Will we ever share lectures or work together do you think?

Hi @abieo,

It's unlikely that as a first year student you would attend the same lectures and seminars as as 2nd/3rd/final year students, unless they were repeating a module...however there are lots of other opportunities to work with your friends. For example you could all get involved with the same student society (lots of courses have their own society) or if you worked as a student ambassador. There are lots of societies here at Huddersfield and it's a great way to socialise with students from all years and courses!
