Hair on inner thigh?

Not a pretty thought, I know. I would appreciate it if this was kept anon.

I'm female and I have what I can only assume is pubic hair on my inner thigh. It's just thin but dark hair around the bakini line. I can also only assume that this isn't particularly normal and more than just a bakini line?

The problem I have is that this would obviously show slightly when wearing a swimming costume or bakini so therefore I have to remove it. Shaving there however causing quite a bad irritation and a shaving rash and this rash shows when wearing swimwear which could be very embarrassing. :frown:

I have 2 questions really,

Is hair in this area normal?

How can I get rid of this rash that appears when removing it?

I've tried waxing, shaving etc but it all causes the same irritation. Are there any creams or products people have found to be effective?

Thanks guys

errr, Im not quite sure where you mean but do you wax yourself or go to a professional? Also, tried hair removal creams?

I find shaving a bitch around the bikini area, waxing is much better!

It's normal, dont worry! Haha, it's just a bit of overgrowth (:

I find shaving with an electric razor, rather than a wet one, doesnt' give me a rash. You have to do it more often but the result is pretty much the same.

There is also the option of waxing, if you're not sure about it go into somewhere like boots and ask a sales assistant to help you.

Go to a salon for a wax, they usually have the right creams etc, if you start getting red. Although its usually red for a day or 2 after anyway :s-smilie:

Thanks guys. Good to know it's not just me. Still an annoying problem though. Especially since I swim a lot..

Electric shavers are just as bad. I might persevere with the waxing - I wouldn't get it done professionally - I'm just not confident enough.

Don't worry about waxing, the people aren't scary its their job...imagine they've had to do it to some hairy backed man, yours is so not embarrassing, they ought to be highly professional! xx

Ok two things: if you're shaving and waxing yourself then an aftershave lotion, like one of those that gilette make for men is great. I've used it and it reduces redness and any annoying spots too! otherwise veet is good and works well

wax?
shave with baby oil after?
bleach the hair?
