Norwich
I don't think I could handle living in the countryside but who knows, I might enjoy it if I actually tried it. I just think I would get bored though.

Plymouth when the Submariners come in after a 8 month patrol. Apparently they have sex with everything after being locked up with no women for 8 months

Norwich

I've heard Radio Norwich is an exceptional radio station, especially during the 'graveyard' slot

I was born in Plymouth and whilst I've lived in the North all of my life, my dad use to tell me about the submariners (he worked in NAFFI, a civilian branch that works alongside the armed forces) and said the pubs use to have padded walls because things use to get that messy as they had been so long without drink and then just went wild when they came back on shore. Apparently they aren't allowed to drive for a certain length of time as they get tunnel vision being on the submarine and their eyes need to adjust again.

Having said that, I've visited Plymouth quite a few times and it's a nice city.

London. Or anywhere in the south. No offence to any southerners, I just don't like it there :P

what did you dislike about the south as opposed to the rest of the country, out of interest?

I don't dislike the south but having visited it many times, I prefer living in the North. I guess it's just because I was raised here and it is what I'm use to, rugby league, proper fish and chip shops, just the whole northern way of life. (I know you weren't asking me specifically)

Edinburgh.

Too full of posh folk and people who say "eh?" at the end of every sentence. Weegs and edinburgers rarely get on.
for me I think it would be any of the planned towns, something about them just depresses me.

particularly Milton Keynes, it seems so out of keeping with.... well anywhere else in England..it seems so modern (in a bad way, in my opinion) and therefore kind of soulless and devoid of culture, and for me no amount of chain stores and american restaurant chains can compensate for that. But I guess a lot of it just depends on what you want from a place, for soem people the presence of a TGI Fridays and a stupendously sized shopping mall might be all they ask of a place to live!

*waits for someone from milton keynes to come and give me neg rep lol*

fair enough

I have never lived in the north but having applied to university there im looking forward to possibly finding out what its like to live there, and certainly hoping for a lower cost of living as a nice bonus too (although I dont know how far that is true or how much its outdated/a myth?)
