Why Do Many Girls Reveal Their Body So Much?

I never understand why people feel the need to reveal so much. With what some people wear not only do I question their parents but I also think about how much pride the person must have. Also, why do these people hold no decency?

The ones in relationships are the worst. Surely you know that when you are outdoors every other person will see you. Do you value your body so little that it can be for all to see? Do you feel so insecure that you must show everything? Do you think anyone wants to be with you for long if getting them required you to reveal pretty much everything?

I understand the right to wear what you want. Still, do people not sometimes think a little more. People used to dress so well long time ago. I wish I was around during those years. Our generation is full of sht.

The narcissistic are those who I ain't got time for.

Lol I was just arguing with you on that other thread.

People should wear whatever they want to wear and be free from people like you judging them.
Oh lord I am always so annoyed by people like you.

Why is it bad if someone shows their body. If they feel beautiful and sexy showing it of then let them feel good instead of shaming them.

I’m not finished what I’m saying but if I were to fully argue it’d take up too much time.

Can I ask you a question.
1) Are you Muslim?
2) Do you expect girls to cover everything up

Not being an islamaphobe. Muslims tend to have this point of view with the whole Bhurka (don’t know how to spell it) thing.

Are you religious?
Are you from the UK?

You are incredibly judgmental. In the UK they can wear what they want. their parents and the girls do not seek nor need your approval.
Maybe you ought to look at yourself , your own parents and sense of decency?

Your post is just plain creepy.

I am so annoyed when people post this.
I always imagine some very religious Muslim shouted at girls and making his wife and daughters wear Burkas that only show their eyes.

I don’t think he understands that people are individuals and can decide what they want without having to do what their parents or other people say.
people should be able to wear whatever they feel comfortable with without people unfairly categorising and judging them
oh do shut up. if people want to feel sexy, beautiful and young and enjoy themselves and also when the weather is so hot, then I'd say they should take that opportunity before they get old and fat. we aren't living in saudia arabia yet, we are still free to walk the streets even in short shorts or crop tops. please go on one of those jane austen-inspired weekends and get your hard-on stealing glances at ladies' ankles if that's what you so want.

I am more interested in why people whine so much about things that really aren't any of their business. Maybe you can give some insight into that, OP?
We've all been hardwired to instantly judge people. The guy in black and large coat is a depressed sociopath, the girl who watches anime is introverted, the guy wearing a Tommy Hilfiger, Paul Smith and Rolex is spoilt and ungrateful, the girl that can run faster than a guy two years older is a jerk. But no, perhaps its hot (in the south-east it hits high 20s still) or they are finally comfortable with their body image and want the freedom to wear light clothes.

If your so bothered about people being “revealing” on what they wear why are you constantly looking at them doing it...turn the other way and mind your own business.

The fact you said people are “insecure” when they do this is laughable. It’s more the opposite. They’re comfortable in doing whatever they want and not caring what irrelevant people like yourself think.

Stay in your lane my g.

I just find things like calling them obscene and questioning their parents pretty disturbing, especially if this person is in the UK.
Worrying that people like this are walking around.

Apparently they complain because they have not had sex and have no friends. Not hard to see why.
They should have the right to wear what they want. I just have an opinion regarding why people choose to reveal how much they do. I don't undsrstand why people become so sensitive.

I look at the modern feminist movement and they encourage women to reveal their body as they wish. Do these people not realise that they are only promoting the idea that women are something to just be looked at in a certain way? Also, the idea that they must reveal as much as they do to attract... To reveal so much and say it is an act of ensuring equality is beyond ridiculous. Women literally reduce any value or decency they hold when they can't do as little as cover themselves up in front of kids or whoever walks past in the streets. It goes for men too. Some of us dress so stupidly and I wonder what actually goes through such people's mind.

People used to wear suits and dress bloody half decent. Nowadays you'd be surprised if you found people dressing let along dressing in class.

You are asking the same questions and making the same statements which have been made from time immemorial. There was a time when showing an ankle was immodest. My children were born in the 70s and 80s and my grandchildren dress very differently from their parents. I also have to say that past generations, especially the Victorians covered up, but what went on behind closed doors was different altogether. The human form is not something to be ashamed of. I was brought up in care and we had to wear robes in the bath similar to hospital gowns in case we could see each other’s bodies. I think that every generation has it’s faults but your generation are more open and free - except if you are of a particular religious persuasion or are just living in the wrong era. You are reading too much into the way young females dress and that sas more about you than it does about them.
it can be a multitude of reasons for the individual.. it can be manifestations of confidence, or insecurity, of political views, of pratical considerations, etc. etc. the list could go on.

The overall reason though is simple: fashion + culture

In China its 30-35 degrees every day where I live, but you will pratically never see any girl with any part of their chest showing. Legs are ok, but no chest - and almost no belly/mid showing. Its so rare for my wife to see a single girl showing any chest at all, that the last time it happened my wife pointed it out in shock to me, as she was so surprised.

When we are back in England its just common place in the summer though. Are English girls more insecure? More desperate to look good? etc. - I would say no. Its just a difference in cultural attitudes and a difference in fashion trends between the two countries.

Aww how lovely. Let us talk reality now. It is normal to judge. You are ignorant if you can't judge. How do we asses good and bad if we don't judge? Do we accept all despite whether it is an issue or not just because someone might feel judged? The sad truth is they will be categorised so to say they shouldn't be is useless. For example, if you know the law will judge you a certain way despite whether it should or not- you would act accordingly.
I also get the feeling that you are a strong hypocrite, and left to your own resources you probably watch hardcore pornography. maybe you feel grossed out or guilty by that and take it out on the girls who look sexy to you and blame them for making you feel a pervert...or something along those lines.

Maybe because its impractical to wear thick European coats and suits all year round when foreign imports and materials can do the flexibility, the sweat control and the insulation so much better.

Do you ever stop and think that it is perhaps your attitude and way you come across which stops you from being able to find a partner?

A lot of what you mentioned seems fine. I just wonder why people reveal so much especially when they are in a relationship. How do you possibly feel comfortable knowing every person around you is looking at you? Are you not encouraging the idea that women are for display? I just feel like women are encouraged to drop everything with no concern for decency.

it may be normal to judge, but not everyone feels the need to voice it online where they know they will draw people in with very different opinions.
