So long story short I applied for an access to health course at college but was told as I already have level 3 in Health and Social Care I wouldn’t be able to do this course and should do level 4 Health and Social Care through the uni. I’m worried as a few other peoooe have had this problem but have managed to still do the access course! And I don’t want to spend a year doing level 4 if it won’t even get me into adult nursing course at uni, so has anyone managed to do nursing after completing level 4 in health and social?

Many universities will accept it but you may need to get a higher grade than a pass, some of them consider it on a case by case basis. Some universities consider taking a module in health and social care by the open university or you could look into the few foundation years available.
