Welsh. because even if you barely know any you can just sprout a load of crap and garbage with a bunch of L's and Y's and S's and they will probably believe its Welsh anyway

Presuming you speak English I'd recommend Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, in that order.

Mandarin. Wish I could speak Mandarin as Cantonese isn't as widely spoken. Also, Mandarin is a lot easier than canto.

Depends where you can see yourself in future.

Chinese:- (Mandarin) is spoken by the most people in the world... and with China on the verge of becoming a super-power, it will prove useful.
Spanish:- is the 2nd most spoken language... it has become increasingly popular as it's very much the 2nd language of Hip Hop and is spoken in almost every South American country (except Brazil).
French:- France is over 4 times the size of United Kingdom (or so I'm told), it is also spoken in Canada and many Sub-Saharan African countries.
Arabic:- Is spoken throughout the Middle East & North Africa... Learn that and you can get by in almost every country between Morocco and Pakistan

If you can learn those languages, you can get by pretty much anywhere on the planet.

Depends on what you are planning to use it for. Choose a language you can actually use afterwards. I started learning Italian because I like to travel there. That way it is much more motivating.
