I am going into second year part time PGCE course I am dong this at higher level PGdipE what masters credits does this give me and what should I do to up it to a complete masters award/degree. I already have a BA Hons degree and a MA in public health also do I need to do QTS or would the above cover me to teach 16-19 yrs 🤔

Hi, you get extra credits that can go towards a MA Education. After you finish your PGDE, you can then enrol on the MA course (part time or distance as you've already done most of the course) and complete 1 more module and a dissertation. An no, you do not need QTS or QTLS to teach at that level. Hope that helps :smile:
