I do not think a reasonable person can have the views of a Conservative if they are also one who struggles financially (in a troublesome financial state).

It's rare but it can happen. I often think their views are mistaken but traditionally those more economically disadvantaged vote against the people oppressing them.

There is a general correlation with people growing more conservative/right wing with age and with increased wealth. Doesn't happen for everyone and for some it's the reverse, but the trend is there.

One cannot make a statement based on one's own beliefs and expect that one's statement is factually correct. One should account for every eventuality and one must remind one that, by looking at the results of elections and opinion polls, it can become clear that one isn't correct as one can observe that there are indeed "poor" conservative voters.

Using 'one' as a pronoun does not make your point true or any more impressive, btw.

If you are rich and feel it to be a burden then there are easier ways to give away all your money without needing to vote Labour.

You can be but you can also be misguided.

People generally like labours economic policies but hate all their other policies. With the conservatives it’s the reverse.

Which is basically proto nazism, which certain people (understandably) don’t want to happen again

I'm conservative but come from a working class family but I don't intend to remain working class. Anyone from my background wants to work their way up not down, they vote for what they think will help them in the future when they make it after education.

Why wouldn't people struggling to earn enough want to have to pay less tax, and have cheaper prices through competition and removal of tariffs.

a poor conservative is self-sacrificing, they know that even though they might not get a ton of benefits and free money but they know that overall it is better for them and their country in the long run.

Why not?
Tories generally sh*t on anyone with the misfortune of being poor. Under their rule, child poverty has increased to 1/4. 67% have at least one parent working.

The cuts to public transport, particularly buses, has had an enormous impact on the ability of those who can't drive to get to work or participate in society. The cost has also risen dramatically. A monthly ticket in Cornwall costs £100. A family of 4 can expect to pay £300 a month just to get around. That's £3600 a year. And you can't save up for a car whilst spending that much to get around.

The cuts to mental health services also impact the poor disproportionately. Mental illness is significantly more common among people on lower incomes.
