Name: :mmm:

Age: 17

Level: IGCSE

Favourite subject: Physics. Because I kinda have an obsession with this subject, and it's my dream to work at a space agency in the future, soooo...

Least favourite subject: Maths. Because I sucked at it before, so the past phobia used to crawl back and annoy me.

Personal predicted grades: 5A*s 2As, according to how I think I may have done in my exams.

Teacher predicted grades: 6A*s 1A

What did you enjoy the most about your IGCSEs: The fact that we're all in this, together.

What did you enjoy the least: Pulling all-nighters. It's not fun.

No, I don't have any regrets, and no, I don't want any chance to start this hell all over again

What I would like to tell my teachers: Thank you so much, even though I know it wouldn't suffice :cry2:

Advice for future IGCSE students: It's no breeze, stress will always be there, however you handle or control it. Please work hard (not because they are important because they are not, at least not THAT much), because the things that you'll learn about yourself in these two years will help you ace your future qualifications

My whole IGCSE experience in a gif:

What I'm hoping to study in the future: Nuclear engineering or Chemical engineering.

What I'm planning to do during uni: Gym, friends, trying to ace my uni exams

What I want to be when I finish uni: Engineer at a space agency (If I'm lucky, then it should be NASA).

What I hope to achieve from my degree: My childhood dream of working at a space agency

Job interviews, CVs, work experiences, they all happen just before uni or during uni at the place I live

In 5 years, I see myself at my dream uni.

In 10 years, I see myself living my dreams :moon:

Message to my 5 years later self: Keep going at it, DON'T even think of giving up ! :shakecane:

Message to my 10 years later self: Congratulations, girl ! Well done. Oh, and if not well done, remember that you're still alive and able ! So keep trying ! Oh, and how about you execute that amazing backup plan of yours, though ?

Name: Grade A
Age: 17
Level: A LEVEL

What was your favourite subject? Maths
Why? Most people are bad at it, so it feels quite special when i'm pretty good with it. I also like it because it's more application so the CHEATERS that memorise and hope for the best can't do sh*t in maths exams
What was your least favourite subject? Biology
Why? Too much memorising and the application questions in the real exams are some NEXT LEVEL 500 IQ cr*p.
Personal predicted grades: A*A*A* and A*A* in both subjects I plan to do in my gap year.

Why do you feel you’ve achieved this? I know exactly what to do to get all A*s, but I just procrastinate a lot.
Teacher predicted grades: Probably A*A*A
What did you enjoy the most about your A levels? Seeing other people struggle (i'm just being honest), it makes me feel better if I did badly on a test but if everyone else did even worse.
What did you enjoy the least? Having to actually work hard.

Do you have any regrets? Anything you’d do differently if you had a chance to start over? I would get all A*s at GCSE if I could start over, as I didn't care too much about them at the time.
What would you like to tell your teachers? You're all USELESS! I can self-study in an 2 hours what it takes you to teach me in a WEEK!
Any advice for future GCSE/BTEC/A level students? Plan all your revision in advance so you'll know how hard you need to work before the main exam.
Sum up your whole GCSE/A level experience in an emoji, meme or gif:  /

What I’m hoping to study in the future: Economics at a IB target university (like Cambridge, LSE, UCL or Warwick)
What I plan to do during uni: Study EVERY DAY to get a solid first, chill with friends 1 entire day of the week, plan what i'll do to enhance by Investment Banking CV
What I want to be/do when I finish uni: At a top Investment Bank like Goldman Sachs or JP Morgan
What do you hope to achieve from your degree/course? A First Class Honours, so that I can hopefully go on to go my Masters at Cambridge or LSE
Completed your CV? I've started to draft one for myself which lays out what I need to be doing in my time at uni.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? End of my BSc with a First Class Honours at a respected Uni
What about in 10 years? Working as a manager at a top investment bank with a salary of at least £65k by then
Write a message for your future (5 years) self: Congrats on the First, I hope the application to Cambridge goes well.
Write a message for your future (10 years) self: You're independent, so now is the time to make all the dreams a reality. You know what to do, so continue to always try to be the BEST at everything. Prove how valuable you are to the company before expecting that dream income. Best Wishes from me, your 17 year old self

Name:
... no. 😂

Age:
18.

Study level:
Just finished A levels.

Courses studying/studied:
Music, maths, and further maths. I also studied history for L6.

What was your favourite subject?
Music.

Why?
Because I am a passionate musician.

What was your least favourite subject?
I liked them all. Same for GCSE. In lower senior school, I was pathetically bad at DT.

Why?
For A level and GCSE: I wouldn’t have studied a subject if I didn’t like it. Lower school: I could never finish a project.

Personal predicted grades:
I have no idea. I know I’m capable of 3A*s but I don’t know how the exams went... we shall see on results day.

Why do you feel you’ve achieved this?
Because I’m a hard worker and quite good at what I do.

Teacher predicted grades:
3A*s.

What did you enjoy the most about your A levels?
Studying subjects that I enjoy.

What did you enjoy the least?
The crippling fear of failure.

Do you have any regrets? Anything you’d do differently if you had a chance to start over?
I wish I had sought help about my mental health earlier.

What would you like to tell your teachers?
Thanks for putting up with me, and supporting me.

Any advice for future GCSE/BTEC/A level students?
Look after yourselves, and focus.

Sum up your whole GCSE/A level experience in an emoji, meme or gif:
🎶

What I’m hoping to study in the future:
Study music at Oxford.

What I plan to do during uni:
Study, write, and play music, and have fun.

What I want to be/do when I finish uni:
A musician, of some description.

What do you hope to achieve from your degree/course?
A first.

Have you had a job interview?
Several, including choral scholarship auditions.

Completed your CV?
Yep. It is being continually updated.

Completed an internship, work experience, apprenticeship?
I sat in a bank for three days. Apparently, that was work experience. Other than that, no.

Do you have a job?
I have a full time job for the forthcoming academic year.

What do you like the most and least about it?
I don’t know yet.

Have you had any job offers?
Yep. A choral scholarship at the cathedral were I went to school. I would have taken it up if they had offered accommodation, but due to odd circumstances that I won’t bore you with, they weren’t able to.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Probably in the mirror, shaving or something... (sorry that was pathetic). Doing a masters degree in music, if all goes to plan.

What about in 10 years?
Not a clue.

Write a message for your future (5 years) self:
I hope you’re happy with your life. If not, then I have no advice to offer you, as I’m rather hoping that you’re wiser than I am now.

Write a message for your future (10 years) self:
As above. Well done for staying alive for this long.
