Hi I was wondering how the prospects are for an actuarial science student from LSE. Will they be limited to only actuarial science or would they be more broad since it's a degree from LSE (due to its reputation)?

thanks

Hey, I am looking to apply to accounting and finance at LSE (Am an international). I am doing the IB, However I am taking Math Standard Level (SL) (Predicted a 7). Do you think I have a chance or does not taking HL eliminate me, and I should not bother applying? Thanks

Hey, Im applying to LSE A&F this September as my target #1 choice. The bare minimum requirement is 666 38. They do not say that HL maths 6 is required but is recommended and desirable. I have been advised to take HL maths as it improves the chance of getting an offer compared to candidates without HL maths. Thats the reason why I took HL maths and have been struggling to get consistent good grades. Even if they do give you an offer, chances are they might make a 7 SL maths an additional requirement. How are your predicted grades looking?

Grade A thanks for the tag bruh, good to see you again

Math is my strongest subject, I took it as SL because I was initially looking to apply for management (not at LSE though). I am predicted a 7 and feel confident that I could get a 7 in my externals

Those grades are fine - if your A level predictions are good you will get plenty of offers, and not problem with the maths and english grades for university admissions and applying for jobs.
