They won't think you are lazy, if one does, change GP. All sorts of things can cause fatigue like this, most treatable, it could be chronic fatigue syndrome though, but the only way to diagnose that is to try all the blood tests etc and if they come up with nothing that could be what you have? (though very unlikely). It could be any number of things, anaemia, thyroid or liver problems. Just make sure you are properly hydrated etc as well, that can also cause it, or at least make matters worse.

See your GP asap!

I agree with geo139! Your GP will definitely will not acuse you of being lazy.

hows your diet etc?
i agree about going to your gp for a blood test etc.

Have you tried taking supplements? Vitamins maybe??

Go to your GP.
It doesn't sound very nice -- could just be that you're not particularly healthy (diet, exercise etc.), as that can have a significant people; but it might also be something like anaemia or, possibly, Chronic Fatigue, or various types of arthritis, etc. I'm not saying it is any of those things -- I haven't a clue -- but you should go to the Dr.

*hugs*

Ok after doing some internet research im **** scared ive now got ME!
Can anyone assure me i havent? and if i have will it get worse than now i.e having to be mouth feed and wheelchair bound?

Self-diagnosis on the internet is always a dangerous game to play because you can often scare yourself silly.

ME is a diagnosis of exclusion, so they have to rule everything else that it could possibly be out first. Just go to your GP and take it from there.

Do you drink a lot of Coke or fizzy drinks. It's unlikely, but sounds like a few of the symptoms i had of cumulative aspartame poisoning.

I do drink lots of coke, :s-smilie:
Anyways seen my GP and going for blood tests tomoz, im actually hoping they show something.
Im just really worried as i used to suffer from anxiety and stomach ulsers when i was 14,15 and my life kinda stopped, now im doing well in my a levels and have big exams coming up, and 2 holidays with friends and might go australia next year, this will really mess me up.

Thanks for help everyone

Yeah, could be cumulative aspartame poisoning which is a sweetener used in Coke and most fizzy drinks, just give up the Coke thats what i did. i still drink fizzy drinks now and then but nothing like on the scale i used to and i don't drink Coke at all.

That is why I don't drink Coke.

i get the same sort of pain your describiing in your legs, its really annoying isnt it, do you get the feeling that you have to keep moving them because they ache even when there still? i went to the doctors about it and he said i was describing something known as restless leg syndrome lol but its mainly seen in old people =S lol, there is medication for it but since i'm only 18 he wouldnt prescribe it. i also have really bad circulation, i've got stupid raynauds (theres a thread running atm about this) so it could all be connected, definately go the doctors and get it seen to, put your mind at rest =]

OP, don't try and self-diagnose: that's what Drs are for. Don't panic -- these things often have the simplest explanations. Best of luck, and don't worry just yet.

Its really unlikely its chronic fatigue syndrome (m.e), but even if it is theres a much less chance of ending up wheelchairbound as well, especially if you have caught it early and take the precautions not to overstrain yourself etc, i mean i dont know looads about it, but i do deal with it alot, my girlfriend has it, it can be hard but its managable!

But theres literally sooo many things it could be other than that which are more easily treatable! so stop worrying and wait and see what your GP tells you!

I had quite a lot of these symptoms for years, finally went to the doctor the other day and it turns out that I'm anaemic. It's easy to treat, and I have so much more energy now that I take pills for it.

Had a blood test yesterday so hopefully it will show something, like anaemic or glandulafever or thyroid.
Thanks again
