scotland alcohol tax

Is it within the devolved power of the Scottish parliament/ Government to raise the tax on alcohol. I am aware that they have been able to set a minimum price per unit but as this is not a tax I am unsure.

Governments can raise the price of any product as long as they don’t discriminate against a specific manafacturer I.e making strongbow more expensive than rekordelig. Alcohol is a massive expense to society so of course they need to raise funds
