Brasenose college

What are your opinions on this college - subject is PPE.

I know it is a sporty college, this doesn't mean they would favour top rugby players does it? Also I have heard it is looking to attract more state school pupils - is the college full of public schoolers? What is the food like there - I am vegetarian and have heard its not great. Are there any kitchen facilities - fridges, toasters, microwaves?

Thanks

It is known to be a bit of a public school, rugger bugger college; similar to Teddy Hall.

Apparently there's two microwaves in the college and most cooking equipment in rooms is banned, according to my friend who starts there tomorrow.

I looked into Brasenose but was assured it was full of "Hoo-Rah Henrys"

RxB you might be able to help me - what are the cooking facilities like in Hertford?

Last open day, before the summer holidays, I went to Brasenose after spending a day/night at ChCh. For me it just seemed right cant really explain it - more intimate than the expansive Christchurch, great central location right next to the Bodleian and pretty close to the History Faculty too. Also has a pretty decent History library, two nice quad's and pretty reasonable accomadation.

A few people I know have been there, they didnt have too many complaints!
Seems to have a good reputation for Law, History and a few other subjects - and its pretty old too - dont be fooled into thinking the Rad Cam is part of the college - its not, but is always on the front of their prospectus!
