Help, struggling with quantitative reasoning!

I'm a prospective medical student who is revising for the UKCAT
I'm really struggling with QR, I find it hard to find patterns and links between the given information and i just cannot work things out fast enough. I do pretty well in all of the other sections (high 600 to low 700s) but I'm worried that my very weak QR is going to let everything down.

Help.

Hi,

What kind of scores are you getting wrt quantitative reasoning? Do you find that there is a particular type of question that you're struggling with?
In terms of being able to work things out quickly, in part, it's a matter of practice. As you familiarise yourself with the exam and different question types, you will pick up speed.

My scores have ranged massively from 315 to 700, mainly around the 500 mark, although the 315 was as a result of being unable to control my panic. If there a question that requires several steps or there is a lot of information to decipher, I really struggle.
