I have been practising a few days using the theory 4 in 1 app, doing the 50 questions on the theory practise. I have passed some tests, but some i have scored around 40+ only. I want to pass the test but I don't how hard the actual test questions are. Some sources I have used e.g. toptest theory I scored high too

Honestly it is pot luck. I wouldn’t be confident however until you are consistently passing all of the practice tests. It can be tough. The hazard perception is probably the harder part of the test however.

I found it really easy tbh. Practiced for a week and passed it with full marks in the questions and nearly full marks in the hazard perception

90% of the questions on my test I'd done before. I wouldn't do it until you're getting 43+ consistently.

Not hard at all really, it's mostly just common sense (and learning some signs and a few rules). I only looked at it the day before the test and still passed (not by choice, I was busy at that time).

The DVSA official apps. The theory one and the hazard perception. The questions in the real test are pretty much identical to the ones from the app. It’s hazard perception you might have to practice more on. But it’s mostly just common sense. And they don’t really penalize you for clicking too many times, just as long as it’s relevant. You can click like 3 times when you see a hazard, just to make sure the software picked it up

Not hard at all to be honest.
For the questions, if you have an iPhone, download Theory Test Genius UK app. Its a car with a yellow background. Lots of mock tests on that. Did these tests for about 2 days.
For the hazard perception bit I did that the morning of the test so honestly it's not difficult. There are lots of sites that have clips similar to that in the exam. Just click in good time.
