Khabib v McGregor

So I love McGregor big fan. But here are my views...
So if they stand up McGregor will easy win as proven.
However if they end up on floor Khabib will f^ck him up as proven by his abilities in wrestling.
Now Khabib is undefeated whilst McGregor has been beaten by Diaz before. Yes we won 2nd 1 but still he proved he can be defeated.
Now McGregor can fight at different classes.
In terms of height and reach Khabib has got the advantage but yet again Diaz and many fighters had height advantage and McGregor still KO’d.
Is it just me that thinks the notorious one will win and prove himself again, yes I know he hasn’t fought for 2 years at ufc but I just feel he will win again. He did decent at mayweather as well and his recent record is 2-2 which isn’t great but Tbf his loses r against floyd and the only reason he lost against Diaz was coz he came in cocky and thought he would easy win. He underestimated him but on the 2nd fight he proved himself.
Khabib has smacked ufc fighters up but people consider him sloppy and he can be exposed by McGregor lethal punches...
I think Conor will win 👊✊
So what are your thoughts?

Who's Khabib beat though? And Iaquinta, who has beaten no one and was ranked about 10th, had some success in the 3rd to 5th rounds. Imagine how Khabib would do against Ferguson or even Kevin Lee. I think Khabib is seriously overrated.

Conor has 74in reach and Khabib has 70in.
Khabib is gonna kill him

Khabib is taller and has got a better reach even Conor admitted it ...

I love it when people give the ellipsis, like they're some sassy *****.

I don't really care if he said it; even if he did, how would he know? Conor has a 4in reach advantage -- that's just science, boi.

You are aware I am supporting McGregor and I think he will win ...
Regardless the advantages ~ Khabib is the favourite ... he has the belt alright and he fights at that class McGregor doesn’t. You can say all you want chat sh!t whatever. At end of day I support McGregor and I think he will win ...

Khabib is the favourite

Says who?

he has the belt

It means nothing considering the fact that Khabib fought Iaquinta - who took the fight on one day's notice and was ranked 9th.

Conor was stripped of that belt due to inactivity - he didn't lose it in a fight.

he fights at that class McGregor doesn’t.

Conor's last fight in the UFC was at lightweight - and he won decisively.

Khabib struggled against Iaquinta despite having a full training camp and Michael Johnson almost knocked him out.

Lol so many casual's.

Khabib supposedly struggled against Raging Al even though it was of the most one-sided fights in UFC history (50-44, 50-43x2).

He's also beat RDA and Barboza, both top level fighters. McGregor does have a better CV though.

Johnson never even hurt him. Go watch that moment again without Rogan's commentary.

Basically what OP said. If McGregor can clip him early he wins but if it goes past the 1st then Khabib's gonna maul him.

Khabib is the favourite, 26-0 undefeated ...

so if you disagree it’s just like saying ~ let’s say arsenal are undefeated in the league and have beaten everyone and last game of the season they play Tottenham. Who’s the favourite? Obviously Arsenal 😂
Don’t get me wrong I want Conor to win ...

Conor's only loss in the UFC was at welterweight and he beat Nate at the same weight in their second fight.

I think you are overlooking the fact that Conor is vastly more experienced in the UFC, has had considerably bigger fights - he headlined 189, 194, 196, 202 and 205 - and was the first person to become a two division champion.

Meanwhile, Khabib looked distinctly average at best against Iaquinta - who is ranked 9th in the lightweight division.

What a silly analogy.

Here's a more realistic football analogy: Arsenal are undefeated in CL and face last season's Real in the final. Who's the favourite?

Don’t get me wrong I want Conor to win ...

Whether you want Conor to win or lose is irrelevant, it's that you're asserting that Khabib is the favourite for no reason other than that he is undefeated.

Your silly for thinking arsenal are in champions league this season 😂
And if you r unbeaten you r the favourite under any circumstance coz you have NEVER LOST therefore ya have the advantage of all wins and not experiencing a loss...
And I’m an arsenal fan so arsenal would be the favourite 😁

I debunked your 'favourite under any circumstances' mantra in my previous response. Here it is again: if Celtic, Porto, Monaco or Roma were unbeaten in the CL and faced last year's Real - who happened to lose one game in the group stage - in the final would Celtic, Porto, Monaco or Roma be the favourite against a team that won the competiton two years in a row and has a vastly superior squad?

therefore ya have the advantage of all wins and not experiencing a loss...

Experiencing defeat can be an advantage, especially against an individual who has never experienced it.

Conor McGregor will win 100%. I'm super pumped for this watch, although it's in Las Vegas so i'll have to stay up super late to watch it  Only reason he lost the belt was due to inactivity - thats not an actual loss. Been supporting the guy for years.

He lost to nate Diaz which is an actual loss but he besides from that totally agree with ya
Anyone saying mcgregor is going to win is deluded... khabib can shake of a sledge hammer to the face.. mcgregors punches wont even register with him.

Hmmmmm
I'm a casual but anything with McGregor captures my attention and I've heard much about Khabib and his mauling style that will apparently cause Conor issues but the latter has good hand speed so he'll probably look to keep it standing up and aim to catch Khabib early.

With the bust-up that resulted Conor getting in trouble with the authorities, that involved Khabib, this should have an entertaining build-up. Intrigued by how far Conor's taunts go, whether he references Khabib's background and faith to rile him

I might - if I can stay up till 5.30am - to watch it on BT Sport, which incidentally only has the UFC coverage until December when it goes to Eleven Sports which has La Liga and Serie A football. So glad it has been pencilled in for October
Not a big fan of Khabib. But I have a point and I have a gut feeling that Khabib will take this fight fair and square.
Kz Khabib is patient. He's just waiting for the right day and the right time which is about to come. And he'll play his game with all the calm. I just don't realize why McGregor has lost all of his patience after that Mayweather fight. And being a die-hard fan of McGregor, I think that it is best to highlight negative points of someone who you support. And McGregor's move of attacking Khabib's crew and his bus was so awful. That was utterly disappointing.
I am also a McGregor fan ...keeping all the hype and training aside I say they are matched... Khabib is a wrestler whereas McGRegor is a brawler.....Both are best intheir own turfs.
