Feeling lost is pretty normal at that age. It's normal all through your 20s really. Don't worry too much about friends, you may find some at uni, you may not. Try to pass your degree even if you don't though. You sound just like me at your age. So from me now, to me then...
Don't stress about it. You'll pick up friends, often through work or places you frequent. Don't panic if the people you meet at uni are not the right ones for you, or just temporary. This goes the same for a partner too. It'll happen. You probably don't need a therapist. Just learn to be at peace with yourself, and keep trying new experiences. That'll bring you both friendship and happiness.
