No I wouldn't assume that, having the ability to think a bit. There'll be women out there who can call a game better and more friendly to the ears than her, she just happened to go for it and be first.

I aint got a clue how she got the job but id very much doubt she's the 1st to try. Having the ability to think a bit you would image they didnt just throw any odd women on even if there were novelty reasons behind it.

I believe her general commentary is great otherwise she wouldn't be a commentator and she clearly has football knowledge and know-how. I just believe that female voice is predisposed to not be able to commentate football matches as opposed to what the commentator says, its just how which seems to annoy the majority of people who catch her on MOTD.

I have no problem with women being commentators.. sex shouldn't be an issue. It's just that the one who pops up on MOTD from time to time is absolutely terrible.

Yeah I think that the poll should have been "Should Jacqui Oatley commentate on MOTD" not "women" as I wouldn't mind a different woman commentating, but Oatley's voice is just so shrill it's annoying!

If they're good enough, sure.

Jacqui Oatley is absolutely terrible. I always put it on mute when shes on, It seriously pains me to listen to her :redface:
