Cyber and security

Is there any course such as cyber and security for bachelor's degree and if there, can I go for cyber and security for bachelor's degree after I study computer science in 11th and 12th std to become an ethical hacker

Hi - sorry you haven't had a response to this yet. I'm just going to bump the thread in the hope that someone sees this and can help :h:
Royal Holloway have an information security pathway on their computer science courses, the masters has GCHQ accreditation I believe.

You might want to look into the activities of an organisation called cyber challenge uk 😎

Sorry this appears to have been missed first time around.

Studying cyber security at Bachelor's level is certainly possible, and as @SanityIsGone points out, some of the courses have been certified under the scheme that we run here at the NCSC.

GCHQ/NCSC-certified undergraduate degrees have proven themselves to be teaching relevant content to a high standard in excellent facilities, with high-quality staff. We appreciate that only two BSc degrees are currently certified, but there are also the Integrated Master's courses at RHUL & Southampton, with one at Imperial beginning next year. We're also hopeful that another two Bachelor's degrees will be added to the list in the next month or so.

The standard for our undergraduate degrees also recognises that there is a significant computing component at this level, so you get a very good mixture, and depending on the university that you go to you'll have the option to choose some more specialist modules during the course.

If you head on over to our list of certified degrees, each one has a link to the course page on the university's web site, where you can check out entry requirements, the modules you'll study and the facilities on offer.

Good luck with your choices!

Ah ok 😎

My friend is on the masters, last time we spoke about it he said the BSc was going through the process but wasn’t official.

Yeah, the MSc got it first but the BSc got it like 1-2 years ago and was the first Bachelors degree to get the accreditation (I graduated in CS from Rhul last year) 🙂

Do you think it's possible to do the royal hollaway max course if you don't have a computing degree? I have a accounting and finance degree and was really interested
