The Universe Vs Alex Woods
Probably the best book I’ve ever read so...

The Hero's Guide Saga by Cristopher Healy
and The Ranger's Apprentice Series by John Flanagan.
Both really exciting and funny at times.

It is so hard to say, as I made experience that filming of books are a loss of quality in comparison to the reading books what stands to reason, as a (good written!) book tells more than a film is able to show.

Thinking about the classics I know, they are filmed and just a few were really good.

After a little while, I thought this novel might be good: I called him necktie by Milena Michiko Flasar

Can't remember to ever heard of a filming. If a film to this does not exist, I would give it a chance and watch.

I agree that some film adaptations arent as good as the books.
Some can be better. It swings in roundabouts.

Matilda is an example of the film being way better.

Book of Shadows by Cate Tiernan.
One of my favourite reads since I was 12.
A strong independent high school age female narrator who goes through life knowing that she's far from a perfect 10 and refuses to ever be anyone's victim.

Mein Kampf would be interesting (and very dodgy).

I doubt it. Mein Kampf was a workout about Hitler about his views and strategies to settle the Aryan race around the world, not a novel which is telling a story. Can't imagine that this is made for films.

I'd love to see the Belgariad/Mallorean series by David Eddings made into a film(s). They're great fantasy books and his world building as well as the cast of intriguing characters in both series would, I think, translate really well as a film.
