Rockschool Grade 8 Vocals/Rockschool Teaching Diploma 4/6

Has anyone done grade 8 vocals recently I’m hoping to complete my grades next year ... I can’t help but feel I’m doing it really late at 19/20😬

I am a full time student studying Music Performance at University and my goal once I leave university is to become a Music Teacher specialising in the voice. I have just recently taken interest in the Rockschool Level 4 teaching Diploma ... It seems like a good pathway to take to get into teaching. Only issue is I haven’t passed my grade 8 yet ... however I do have other music related Qualifications. Level 4 is equivalent to the first year of a degree which I have already passed and I have around 3 months experience with teaching. Could I still take part in this Diploma although my experience is limited? Or should I take the Level 6 Diploma which equivalent to a full undergraduate degree?

I don’t have a teaching practice as yet, I do teach family and have done work experience with a music company before.

What would you recommend I do as I would still like to hold a teaching qualification. 🤔
