What to do if im short on UCAS credits
received a conditional offer from MMU, Unfortunately my access to HE results came in at exactly 10 credits short of the 112 credits i needed on the offer!This was simply because i missed half of a unit due to starting a month late, then missing a lot of the year down to sickness/financial reasons/having to live out a suitcase at friends houses while my parents moved to Scotland. Is there anyway i can speak to MMU and explain this and hope they'll take it into consideration

I'm not sure what course you applied for, but maybe now we're in clearing you'll be in a good position to speak to MMU, explain your situation and hopefully get a place. MMU's clearing number is 0161 247 3000.
We have courses in clearing and we are open to chatting with people who are in your position so i'm sure they'll feel the same.
