I am 17 and am very insecure about my body and I often can't stand to look myself in the mirror because of how my body looks. So about a month back I began speaking to random guys online and sending them naked pictures of myself so they tell me I look beautiful and all that to make me feel better (I don't show my face obviously and I don't share my name). The problem is that I've become very addicted to this attention now and it's taking up a lot my time and I really don't want my boyfriend to find out. I do love my boyfriend as he cares for me a lot and it's not like I find guys online who I want to date or become attracted to because I can't see them and I just send them nudes so I wouldn't class it as cheating. I just don't know if this is going to get worse and whether I should stop and when. It makes me feel good at the time when they compliment me but I get cravings for them later when I feel insecure. Can anyone give advice?

To give advice, you might need to send some of these pictures on here so we examine the details of the problem more closely...

Maybe you should be sending them to your boyfriend if you are comfortable and close enough or simply show your own boyfriend your body?

I would, if I was your boyfriend, class this as cheating. In my opinion, my body is my SO's right only and only they should be deserving of seeing me like this, and the same vice versa. Yes you can do whatever you want with your body and if your boyfriend is fine with it then thats great but if you have to hide it nad you dont classify it as cheating, then deep down you know its wrong.

I know he wouldn't be comfortable with it if he found out but it makes me feel comfortable. I don't really send him nudes now he's my boyfriend because he's always going to say I look good because he's my boyfriend. Being rated by loads of random guys is actually a lot more satisfying and makes me feel more confident temporarily

Should you be on TSR if you're older than 17?

Stop! Seek help. Sending pictures of yourself at 17 is illegal. Even though they're pictures of you, it's classed as child pornography. You can get in some serious **** for that.

If you are so insecure about your body, why are you so keen on photographing yourself and distributing the photos to others rather than hiding your body away?

You're behaviour sounds more narcissistic than anything else.

No. I'm insecure so I want to be told I look beautiful - doesn't everyone?

Talk to him about it. You should maybe seek help too because you seem to have mental health issues. Have a real deep talk
