Do you need to have friends to get a girlfriend?

Hi all,

Even though I am a social person I really don’t like spending time with friends as I was betrayed by many fake friends in the past so I would like to get a girlfriend who can support me and I can support her. But just worried that girls would be put off by the fact that I don’t have a proper close friends.

Please give me your opinion on this matter

You don't necessarily need to but your girlfriend should not be the only person in your life that you interact with. You need to have a life outside of your relationship, otherwise you'll end up being too codependent and that puts a lot of girls off.
So where should I look for similar type nerdy/geeky/less social but decent looking girls that don’t have close friends just like me? Any idea?

You just have to get lucky really, people who socialise less won't usually be going to uni societies or clubs, you just have to keep talking to people. This is why you need some friends at least because what if you end up liking a girl who has many friends?
