Student loan

I am in an awkward one here, I have a Uk passport go to a Uk school and up till recently have lived in the uk my mum recently moved to the roi and i stayed in a boarding school and continued schooling in the uk, I would like to attend a UK uni e.g Leicester but was wondering am I still eligible for a student loan if I don’t live here anymore but still school here

To qualify for Higher Education support a UK national must be ordinarily resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man for the 3 years immediately before the 1st day of the 1st academic year of their course. UK nationals who have exercised their Right to Reside in other EU member states, do not need to meet the 3 year residency criteria as long as you have been living in the EU (EEA) or Switzerland for at least 3 years and you are ordinarily resident in the UK on the first day of the term of your course.
