Train prices continue to increase

The Guardian reports that rail fares will increase by an expected amount of 3.5% from next January.

This will add hundreds of pounds to the cost of many season tickets, even though that new figures from Which? reveal that punctuality and customer satisfaction with Britain’s railways has slumped.

The figures reveal that the level of commuter satisfaction with Britain’s railways has slumped over the past decade, falling from 72% in 2008 to 62% today.

Have you read this? What do you think? Do you get the train regularly?

I'm just surprised its as high as 62pc. It would seem the British have a high tolerance to offensive service and being treated as a doormat. I shudder to think what the Japanese, for example, think of our railway system.
The British are not very assertive, we lump the **** service, be that trains, surgeries, restaurants and so on.
