Do you think it’ll apply to new gcses too?
Doesn't really provide any new information, Ofqual have said that for a while now. Bit clickbaity.

Oh I wasn't aware they had said this for a while, just saw the article and thought it would be nice to share. Don't think it's clickbait, I'm sure some will be glad to know

You can see what Ofqual officially state here: https://ofqual.blog.gov.uk/

This sort of article gets made every year when there's a change in the exam system, same thing happened with the new 9-1 grade boundaries. Nothing wrong with it really, just saying it doesn't contain any secret information implying everyone will get As and A*s.

That’s their way of saying “everyone’s done worse than before so we’ll dish out the same proportion of grades as we did last year so nobody complains”

Does 'lowered' refer to lower than last year or lower than before they were reformed? Will grade boundaries for exams reformed last year be higher?
