*******Does anyone have example answers maybe from a similar task to these questions********

The accompanying SPSS printout B shows the results of a study that was looking at
whether early forms of behaviour in infants aged 6 months to a year are good
predictors of later language development at age 3.

a) identify the design of the study.
b) Does the model predict a significant portion of variance overall, and how can you
tell? (10)
c) Write out the regression equation for the final model (15)
d) What percentage of the variance has been explained by this model, in respect of
the population rather than this particular sample? Justify your answer. (10)
e) What was the standard deviation of the dependent variable? (10)
f) What was the standard deviation of the residuals (standard error of prediction)?
(10)
g) Did the social class of the mother predict any significant variance in language
development? How can you tell? (10)
h) Which variable was the best predictor of language development, and how do you
know? (10)
i) Other studies have found that mother's education predicts language development.
Is there any reason why this study should have not found such an effect? (15)

I would assume it's a correlational/longitudinal study but I can't say much without seeing all the information.
