I have failed my firm and insurance choice so now I'm in clearing, my grade was aabc a for maths a for Chinese b for further maths and c for econ, I have already received offer from clearing in QM to study Mathematics with finance and accounting, and qualified to apply Manchester Management studies with finance and accounting. But I'm having difficulties deciding whether to apply to QM or Manchester, my parents said Manchester has better ranking in both subject and overall, which would contribute to my future career finding, but I like the city London more, and I have a lot of friends in London as well, so I don't know.

I've only been studying Maths before and really don't know much about management at all, I totally understand that they wanted me to have a better profile for my career, but in various aspects, London is the place that is more attractive to me.

Rankings mean little. Focus on the course and they are very different. Which one is more in line with what you want to do?

Both of my clearing choices contains finance and accounting which is joint subject, I'm ok with finance.but the major for QM is maths, and for Manchester is management.

Have you looked at the courses themselves? Which one interests you more? Does finance interest you at all?

Both schools are good but Manchester is generally higher ranked, especially in the finance/economics related courses ~30 in A&F/Economics/etc

Probably the only down-side of London in terms of living is the cost of rent, food and pleasure in general. That's something which can be the deciding factor for many candidates.
