I just sat my UKCAT and didn't get as high a score as I would have liked. Can universities completely discount you because of a low UKCAT score? I am a straight A student I am just worried about what having a lower UKCAT score would mean.

Some universities have UKCAT cut offs, so yes, I believe they can reject you on the basis of a low UKCAT score. I'm not quite sure which ones do or don't though.
Some universities also weigh different elements of an application differently e.g. Some might weigh UKCAT more highly than the interview etc. etc.

How unis use the UKCAT is roughly the same each year. Use the link which applies for your score and it will advise you what unis are best for you to apply to

I have a Medify UCKAT course to expire on October 4th (last testing date is October 2nd so no worries there). I have not done ANY practice on the account(literally not a single question), which means that all the mini-mocks and full mocks are still there, and the performance statistics and feedback are not messed with. If anyone is interested DM me.

Hi there,
It will depend on the universities you apply to - some are very UKCAT heavy and rank applicants based on their UKCAT score, whereas others take other factors into account more - such as grade predictions and personal statements.
You can find out how each university uses the UKCAT on our UKCAT guide.
