Economically conservative isn’t really a thing, you might be thinking more of economic nationalism which is one of the ideas underpinning Trumps campaign- in short it’s a lot more sceptical about free trade and globalisation- i’d also recommend reading up about Paleoconservatism.

Possibly by 'economic conservatism' you mean 'fiscal conservatism', which is where the government aims to reduce spending on public services and encourage the free market to fill in the gaps through privatisation. Economic liberalism is the removal of restrictions on domestic and international trade. So really they're not opposites of each other; both of the ideologies are very capitalistic.
