I have achieved BBC from a mixture of retakes as well as completing the Essex university foundation year in law.
I'm trying to find a relatively good university to go to since I really don't want to eventually eventually be another year behind my age mates.
Any help would be welcome and hopefully it is fast before all the courses are gone in clearing.

    Thanks in advance.

it's tricky to recommend somewhere, as some universities will consider your foundation year and others might not so by just looking at your a level grades it wouldnt give you that many places higher in a league table (although that certainly isn't everything). I'd just get calling any universities you like the look of as it just takes a phone call

I have phoned a number of universities but most have rejected me. Surrey, southampton and lancaster all for being one grade off (BBB).
Im wondering whether on day 2 or day 3 of clearing they reduce the required grade by one or two to fill spaces?

Being a year behind your mates won't really matter when you're 70-year-old sipping wine on a beach. Whereas they still working in the call centre.

But difficult to advise without knowing your foundation grades, as these should be most significant to unis. Have a look at Cardiff, UAE, Sussex and Sheffield, Manchester. I don't know that these are still in Clearing for law, but you should certainly have a good look about -- and don't get too hung up on the idea of "prestige". A first from Essex might get you to where you need to be.

generally they if they do decide to reduce grades it would be later on than tomorrow and they may not reduce it at all

So far surrey, sheffield and uea have all rehected me. I basically have two qualifications the A levels and the foundation year. If i had got BBB or 70% i would already be accepted but since i did average in both ,BBC and 63% i have been rejected.
I have applied to sussex but they are yet to get back to me. Theirs is BBB but im hoping theyll let me squeeze by.
