The Student Room Group

Are they going too far?

Ok, usually these three guys in my year pick on one of my mates at school. It's the usual thing like 'your ugly', ' 4-eyes', 'dork' etc..but like recently its turned more severe like we're in year 11...i'd thought it'd stop. For instance last week, they emptied his bag out in class for no reason, ripped up some of his drawings (he's good at art) and generally rudeness.

A few days ago, he was sitting having lunch ( I wasnt there) and my other mate said the three came up to him sat down and said something like ' hey, nice lunch, don't forget to top it down with some milkk..' and as they said this they poured his milk that he was drinking on his food...so ruined it all. I don't no if it was a joke but still?
if that was meant to be a joke...it doesnt sound very funny to me!! :O

thats extreme. not a joke at all.
its bullying. talk to him about it and get him considering reporting it

That's not a joke. At all. You should tell a trusted teacher straight away. It's bullying and it has to stop. Just support your friend as he may well be feeling a bit down about it all, even if he hasn't said anything about it. Defenitely tell a teacher.

It's bullying. Speak to a teacher and be there for your friend,

isnt there like a head of year or something he can talk to about it?
thats so mean, to do all that, especially ripping up his drawings!
This sort of thing happened to my friend in year 11, and after trying to get them to lay off him, with little success, I did the really uncool thing and told my head of house. It's good to stand up for a friend.

get your friend, to learn to start standing up for himself, or a whole bunch of you should help him,and explain 2 those 3, that its just mean. or u could just tell the good old teacher.
Your poor friend. :frown: Tell someone responsible immediately.

It's never uncool to tell someone in authority. Think how cool you would feel if your friend tops himself because he can't take any more. Tell someone NOW
