Yes, capital punishment in the past was a key tradition and culture of Britain. It would be fitting to leave the ECHR and bring back capital punishment to England and Wales after brexit as well as allowing Scotland and NI to do so if they wish.

The death penalty and our justice system have nothing to do with Brexit, nor have they ever. We have always had the right to impose our own justice. And to that end we abolished the death penalty in 1965. And the reason for not bringing it back is as clear as day. Just look at the US with its crime rate. Clearly death is not a deterrent for some.
