I was wondering when you start a foundation course do you attend the same lectures/lessonss with students who have applied directly into year1 of that same subject?
Thanks.

Nope its a different set of lectures and often in a different location. the foundation course is more for shoring up basic skills and your level 3 knowledge to prepare you for the degree. Look at the course content on the uni website to see the difference. Foundation students are often mixed with others intending to do a similar degree.
