R.A. Butler/Trinty Essay Prize

Hi guys,

I’ve just submitted my essay for the R.A. Butler prize, and was wondering if anyone else has entered/ is planning to. Which topic did you choose?

Hi, I entered it. I did 'what role, if any, does religion play in democratic politics?' what about you? I wrote around 3000 words and thought it was alright but so many subsmissions this year!

Ikr 166 entries! I was going to choose the religion one, but I went with ‘Is the internet ruining politics?’ in the end, and I wrote just under 4000. I think it went ok; I only decided to try it a few weeks ago because I was focusing on an EPQ, so i have no idea whether they’ll like it or not 😬 Good luck!
