Apprenticeship advice

I’m really close to starting a Level 3 accountancy apprenticeship I just really want to know is it really stressful, like do I have to work 24/7 or is it just mainly in the week 5 days as week. All my mates have gone uni and I feel when they are out having a good time I’m going to be stuck learning or doing my apprenticeship work I don’t know if this is what is expected but this is my only worry for doing an apprenticeship do I still have a social life will I still be able to go out at weekends with my uni mates?

A lot of companies try to promote a healthy work life balance so there'd definitely be time to socialise. The hours you'd work and the days you'd work will be set out by your company so it's best to discuss any requirements (or preferences) with them to see if they can work with you.

On an apprenticeship you might find that you go to study somewhere one day a week on day-release, or they may decide to send you on block release which could be weeks at a time. Either way, you'll still be able to make friends and socialise.

Does that help?
