I think the majority here are younger students. Enlighten us about the ‘40 year old men’.

Literally whenever I post about study issues I have old men saying back In my day... you have it easy... you’re lazy... etc.

I'm not sure they are all 'old and not students'. I am what you consider old (over 40) but I am a student.

What sort of hate are you experiencing? I've had more nasty and vile comments off teenagers myself.

I know a few people are obviously students over the age of 40, but generally any thread I start where I’m trying to get through a procrastination episode to study I continuously get old men argue with me saying we all have it easy, back in their day it was harder, just seems these guys are board and decide to take it out on ppl they see as below them

Everyone has different opinions about younger people and younger people have their own opinions. I’ve had the opposite because I’m 70 and have just finished my degree. Sometimes curiosity, sometimes nasty, but who cares? Just ignore.

I'm sure you do absolutely nothing to provoke them because you're just an innocent little child. Wait... aren't you supposed to be an adult? The way you phrased the OP was obnoxious. Parents, teachers, lecturers and mature students use this site as well.

Not just for students. When I made my account, the youngest current users on this site were probably 7-8 years old.

I am obnoxious but it doesn’t change the fact that they don’t need to be as*holes to alevel students on the internet

But you are no better because you are making the assumption that older people shouldn’t be here or even be students.
