Equine and veterinary bioscience

What jobs are available once completing this degree?
Veterinary bioscience alone is quite a broad degree (I can't speak for Aber specifically but in many cases there is a wide range of options to choose from), including topics such as anatomy, cell biology and physiology. You'll get taught a variety of lab techniques. For that reason it lends itself to academia and and a lot of people go on to further study (especially a veterinary medicine degree), but it would be suited towards many jobs related to agriculture, the pharmaceutical industry, medical research, publishing or animal care. I have a friend doing this course than is spending a year working as a zookeeper, for example :smile: Adding the equine element will obviously nudge you towards working with horses, and there are plenty of ways that they could relate to the sectors I've mentioned.
