How does Student Maintenance Loan work?

So i just got approved for maintenance loan of £7350, so what i heard is that it gets paid out in 3-4 installments. Does that mean i will get 22050 in a year or will the 7350 be divided into 3 terms for 2450?

The ~£7k is across the year. You should see how much your instalments will be on your payment schedule on your account.
