OCR History Timeline : Russia

This is the official Russian timeline for the AS module for Russia.

If we all work together and continuously add dates, then we can each have one hell of a timeline

This is how it is going to be set out: we add a date, then we add a brief description  simple as. You can add multiple dates and you can add dates wherever you like.

To make this easier, all dates and descriptions should be highlighted in blue

I'll go first.

1881 - Alexander II assassinated by the 'People's Will', a liberal group who sought reform by radical action. This led to severe repression by the 'temporary laws'. Pobedonostsev takes russia into the "reaction period". Severe political repression.

1891 - 1902 - Construction of the Transiberian rail-way.

1904-1905 - Russo Japanese war. Humiliating defeat of Russia. Citizens disappointed

1905 - Revolution. October Manifesto created to dissect and appease the united enemy.

Let's all help eachother  (cheesy, i know)
