Holy ****, incredible! What subjects did you take?

Biology
Chemistry
Physics
French
History
Computer Science

And I didn't do Maths because I got the 9 last year already

Ah ok, well then, I do wonder how many got straight 9s. Ofqual says that 4.5% of students got straight 9s (I think).
I think you’re mixing that up with the number of individual exam entries that were grade 9. The number of students who achieved all 9s is in the hundreds which is a tiny percentage.

EDIT: the “hundreds” figure is how many got at least seven grade 9s.

Sorry, my original post was slightly unclear. The BBC has added now that the figure refers to those with at least 7 grade 9s.

I can't imagine that the overall statistic would be that different, since not many people are likely entered for less than 7 subjects.

The 700 figure is how many students got at least seven grade 9s. I didn’t see how many got a clean sweep of 9s - I’ll have another look at the data later.

I got 5 9s and I was so surprised. TSR isn't a good way of measuring though as there are a lot of high achievers on TSR

Sorry, I phrased my original post pretty badly. What I meant was the 700 figure is the number of people who got all 9s with at least 7 9s, and hence does not include those doing, say, 6 (9-1) GCSEs and 2 (A*-G) gcses.

I got 9 grade 9s this year and I did maths last year and already got a 9 then so I'm luckily one of the 732 that got All 9s
Congratulations🎉 that’s amazing💕 do you think you could give me advice on how to revise on specific subjects? I’ve asked many people but no one has replied yet. I’d really appreciate it☺️
