It says on my GCSE results that my grade for Combined Science is 54. What does that even mean?

This is a 5-4, meaning you got a 5 (considered to be a good pass, C) and a 4 (also a C) in the two GCSEs which you get when you do combined sciences.

you are given 2 gcse grades for combined science so you got one 5 and one 4. You only get three individual grades if you take triple science. Well done
