Maybe wrong GCSE english lit grade?

So I got my GCSE results today and I'm happy overall, except for my eng lit grade. I got a 5, and I was expected a 7/8. Apart from that I got 1 9/8, an 8, 4 7s and a 6. As you can see the 5 is slightly out of place. I've asked my English teacher about it and he is going to take a look at it, but I was wondering how likely is it that the grade really is so far out? And if it is, why would that happen?

IIRC, you should be able to ask for a copy of your script, so you can see if it was marked wrongly or not.

If you're close to the grade boundary up, then try and get it remarked.
