What does the M mean in the column End1

On my gcse results the column End1 there is a letter M, does anybody know what it means, it would be most helpful.

Is this a grade for a BTEC subject? If so, it most likely means Merit.

If its next to english it tells you what you got for your english speaking. And m means merit.

I've found out what it's for now it's for my speaking assessment that I did in year 8, thanks for helping me out though.
