Looking for a software that allows me to type up my maths notes quickly and easily without too much of a learning curve... any suggestions?

You can input almost every math symbol on Microsoft word if you press alt and equal sign (I think thats how you open it, if not then alt + r) Then you can find the symbols on the list if you go to the tab on the top right, there are also specific simple commands you can type after pressing alt and equals like \doubleR to get the 'R' symbol, or '/' for the fraction/division symbol, '*' for multiplication, '^' to raise something to a power - but you can always just find it on the list (it tells you the command for each symbol when you put your mouse cursor over it on the list). There are also integration symbols, matrices, 'E' (sum of) symbols and other ones too.
