why is it people like to pretend they are sumthing that they are not and then troll that person who they are messing around with..

How can you be personally trolled? Trolls just start off threads that cause arguments and/or vehemently disagree with somebody to incite argument. You can choose whether or not to participate in said argument or not.

Some people are just dumb and it's fun to take advantage of that. You can't always have a serious argument.

It's like how Ali G/Borat act like idiots, but then they expose the real idiot in the person they're interviewing. Same concept.

Trolling can be funny. I've never really done it but I have watched as friends brought entire forums to their knees and laughed with them as they captured their screenshots of glory and trundled on home.

As for being on the receiving end, it's about a billion times better than being pwn3d in real life, that's for sure.

To be honest, trolling is just a fun thing people do, and as the previous poster said, not everything on the internet shouldn't be taken too seriously.

It is funny to see how heated the arguements get.
