A girl I like...

Sorry, this probably seems like a typical thread but I'd quite like some advice.

There's a girl in the above year, she's in Y13 and I'm in Y12, who I've noticed since the beginning of the year and I find her really attractive. However, I haven't spoken to her at all! Our eyes frequently meet whenever we're in the same room - this could either be good or bad... I'm *pretty* sure she finds me attractive as well (other girls have asked me out which is a bit of a confidence booster - I can hopefully conclude that I'm not unhandsome) but I may be wrong. We also smile at each other. I also know she's single because she's on the same facebook network as me and it clearly says she's single.

Is she unattainable? I always feel that an older girl is harder to get or they are less interested in younger guy. I'm also aware that, while she is attractive, I do not know much about her personality (but I know that's she is very clever which I like). Is it possible to initiate anything so I make it clear I like her? I'll also say I'm very shy when around girls which complicates things!

why dont you strike up a convo with her and see how she reacts? if your both single and not hideously wrong for each other i see no reason why she should be unattainable. why dont you start a convo on facebook if you cant talk to her in real life?

Hmm you're both right - I'll do something even if it's not in the near-future; perhaps near the end of term so if I do get rejected then it won't matter since she'll be off to university :smile:

if your in the same class just ask her about work or something. basically just start speaking her.

haha you should just 'accidently poke' her on facebook, this should strike up a conversation, may be quite a randum one but atleast its a start..... it will all follow on from that lol..
