I am starting 6th form in September and am not sure if I should go for a rucksack/backpack or handbag? Experiences, recommendations (where from) would be much appreciated. Needs to hold day folder, pencil case, water bottle, lunchbox, makeup bag maybe laptop as well. Help would be much appreciated, please. Stylish and practical would be fab

I’m starting sixth form this september too so i’m not speaking from experience but i will personally be buying a backpack (nike but its a very original design). I just imagine it’ll be more practical for me and wont strain my arms from being too heavy

I would recommend a backpack or a satchel you can carry cross body because it is more practical to store your folders/books/equipment and carry them, as opposed to a handbag.

I started sixth form last year with a handbag and immediately regretted it haha, I ended up carrying my folders anyway and it just wasn't comfortable.
I'd say get a good backpack

I carried a handbag / sidebag throughout year 12 - it was the worst decision ! Definitely go for a backpack

agree. Handbags or satchels are not as convenient and labor-saving as backpacks. The most important thing is that backpacks usually have a larger capacity and you can carry more books or other items. Especially student backpacks with charging ports are really a convenient design, they have become popular now.
