Hi, does anyone know how previous part-time study effects applications for finance for further part-time study. The only ‘official’ guidance I can find is the following line from the Student Finance: How You’re Assessed and Paid document. It’s very brief, see below:

Tuition Fee Loans for part-time students
If you’re a new part-time student with previous part-time study, only the years of part-time study where you were eligible to apply for student finance will be taken into account.

So, I’m wondering, if the previous part-time study is from before part-time students were eligible to apply for finance, is it taken into account for the assessment? It seems to say that it isn’t.
